SC China Senior Cost Analyst

Bekaert 's engineering departmentdevelops, designs, and builds Bekaert’s specific process equipment and takes care of the after-service of this equipment worldwide. This way the engineering departmentsupports Bekaert’s global strategy of technological leadership. Furthermore it creates a competitive advantage through the use of mechatronics. Mechatronics integrates mechanical design, control technology, electronics and micro-electronics. The engineering departmentthus performs three strategic functions: innovation, providing process equipment, and support.
 

Your Role

1,Assists regional controller on the product costing methodologies standardization under instructions of BU control.

2,Coach the plant controllers/cost accountants of SC China plants on developing and implementing standard costing system.

3,Use benchmarking and best practice information to help plants achieve more accurate standard cost and finally improve the production efficiency.

4,Advise business management on better understanding of cost and profitability of business (per segment, product, order, etc).

5,Responsible for the development of the junior cost analysts who may be the potential cost accountant. This role includes providing knowledge transfer, coaching, constructive feedback and candid appraisal.

Your Profile

1,Master or bachelor's degree in the field of Economics or Finance. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years experience in manufacturing costing related positions is required.

2,SAP product costing knowledge with good experience on BOM, routing, work center, cost center, activity, variances…etc set up and calculation in SAP system.

3,Good communication, coordination and coaching skill and team spirit
English should be very good, both oral and written
