Production Manager

Your Role

• To ensure entire production of wire drawing and chord processing lines as per requirement of the customers .
• Plan and organize inventory, manpower and machinery resources, motivate the staff and achieve targeted production.
• Interact with sales, maintenance and QC departments and execute customer orders as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize various productivity/quality improvement techniques, such as SPC/SQC, Six Sigma, TQM-JIT, waste elimination, Total Employee involvement, 5S, Housekeeping, Kaizen, etc and enhance productivity, quality and process efficiencies, reduce rejection and costs.
• Identify and plan manpower for the production operations, select, induct and train them.
• Develop performance review systems utilizing the latest concepts in employee motivation and motivate production team and supervisory staff.
• Planning of manpower and other production requirements as per (x+1 ) targets
 

Your Profile

Education- B.E Production/ Metallurgy/ industrial Engineering
Experience : 8-10 years experience of Production /Planning and manpower handling .Knowledge of ISO and documentation practices .Experience of 5S /Kaizen is preferred .
Should be able to take decisions and able to guide the team for any problems.
Analytical ability and problem solving abilities.
Knowledge of working with computers and proficiency in word/excel/PowerPoint.
Written and oral communication skills should be very good.
