To make cords, two or more filaments are twisted together a number of times in a frame. During the process, a number of the cable’s properties are monitored, such as torsions, straightness etc.
By combining different filament strengths, diameters, the number of twists or preforming, the cable can be fine-tuned to suit the final application.
