Dylyn® / DLC for textile machinery parts

Advantages

  • High wear resistance – increases the lifetime of textile machinery components
  • Self-lubricating – reduces the use of lubricants; possibility of running dry
  • Anti-sticking - reduces the need for tool cleaning and enables higher production speeds
  • Corrosion Protection - the coating is corrosion resistant which can enhance the lifetime of the textile machinery components

Product description

The self-lubricating properties of the Dylyn® / DLC coating reduce strongly the need for liquid lubricants. The running-in period of the spinning ring is no longer required, leading to a significant increase of production yield. The extreme wear resistance and self-lubricating properties of the coating yield a higher lifetime of both the spinning ring and the corresponding cursor. The high hardness and low friction properties strongly decrease the wear on needles and rapiers.
