Steelskin® is a woven material based on fine steel cord (“cable”). Due to its woven character – and not being laminated – it is a highly flexible stab protection material. In addition the use of steel cords reduces the danger of a multi-hit stab attack as the steel cord damages the edge of the blade thereby increasingly blunting the blade.
