© Bekaert

Bekaert has developed a new line of condensing heat exchangers. One of them is the WTB heat exchanger, top quality design for long lasting operation. The WTB heat exchanger is compact resulting in a small footprint. It has a modular design concept which means that the heat exchangers are available in capacities of 80, 120, 160, 200, 240 and 280 kW.

The material used is aluminium which naturally generates a protective oxide coating leading to good anti-corrosion properties. Aluminium is a reliable material and has been used in the boiler market for over 35 years. Bekaert can supply a heat cell consisting of a WTB heat exchanger and a round Aconit® gas burner.

Supported by our specialists and researchers from the technology centers, we develop new products and applications. This results in a constant renewal and extension of our product portfolio.

Benefit exclusively from Bekaert's leading experience in the combustion technology!

metal fiber web filter

Situation

Ever-tougher emission standards and legislation are forcing OEMs to develop ever-cleaner engines.

Solution

A sintered metal fiber web made of Bekaert metal fibers is used in a diesel particulate filter to lower the emission and to make filter maintenance redundant.

Result

Customers discover that filtration based on metal fibers is an excellent alternative to traditional ceramic filters.
