 LOGO-WELDMESH.GIF (799 BYTES)INTRODUCTION

For strength and versatility there are few engineering materials to rival Weldmesh. This famous name has become synonymous with welded steel mesh the world over.

Weldmesh is one of the specialist products of Bekaert and is widely specified for a multitude of uses throughout industry, building and construction, agriculture and horticulture.

Manufactured from bright drawn mild steel to ASTM A 853-93, the mesh is electrically welded at each intersection.

and then plastic coated or remain in its original
finish-copper coated. Weldmesh is also produced
from either light galvanized or heavily galvanized to
ASTM A 641-92 Class 3 wire, depending on the final
application of the product.

Many types of Weldmesh are available hot-dip
galvanized after manufacture, which gives a zinc
coating in excess of ASTM A 641-92 Class 3.

Some types of Weldmesh are manufactured from stainless steel wire.

Most Weldmesh products are manufactured in both roll and panel form with a wide variety of gauges and mesh sizes.

Weldmesh is available through a national network of appointed distributors who can advise you on the correct mesh for your needs.

Bekaert, through its various manufacturing plants, has a total commitment to quality. The company has been approved and registered as meeting ISO 9002, the international standard for quality approval.
