CONVEYOR BELTS
Conveyor belts are widely used as a means of transportation in many different places like mines, ports etc. When reinforced with steel cord these belts last longer, allow higher operating speeds and offer better shock rupture resistance than conventional belts.

PASSENGER BELTS
All around the world, conveyor systems carry people around airport and station terminals, pedestrian areas and many other places. The passenger belts have all-runner edges and faces and are reinforced with Fleximat®, a unique steel cord fabric, for maximum reliability and performance.

HOISTING BELTS
Traditionally, steel ropes are used to bring elevators up and down. Bekaert now also supplies the reinforcing material for flat flexible belts, which are fine steel cords coated with polyurethane, used to move the next generation of OTIS elevators.

TRANSMISSION BELTS
Transmission belts are used to transfer movement and/or power. Transmission belts are steel cord reinforced when power transmission is important, when precision is of essence or for heavy duty applications.
