 Fleximat® is a steel cord fabric that offers high resistance to elongation, heat, cuts and impact, and large troughing angles and small pulley diameters.
It is a product that has proven its value in many fields.
Bekaert initially designed Fleximat® for conveyor belts, because it offers much better tearing strength and impact resistance than do conventional fabric-reinforced belts. Fleximat® is available with a textile weft or, if high lateral strength is required, a compact weft or a straight warp.
