Bekaert metal fiber media are ideal for cleaning and sterilization processes and for filters for the pharmaceutical industry. In final guard filters, metal fiber media are replacing titanium bar media due to increased strength and longer lifespan. In steam filters, metal fibers resist very high steam temperatures and last longer than PTFE.

Bekipor® ST is a series of high quality, metal fiber media that enables efficient separation in food & beverage sterilization processes at a very low pressure drop.

It offers excellent resistance to low and high pH values, chemicals, and fluctuating temperatures. It features a high mechanical stability with a porosity of up to 90%, enabling a highly efficient separation process at very low pressure drops.

Customizable to your needs, the media can be pleated and produced to very tight tolerances with filter ratings ranging from 2 µm to 100 µm. The standard alloys include 316L, Hastelloy® and Inconel® 601; other alloys are available upon request.
