Bekaert has been included in TIME’s list of the world’s most sustainable companies for 2026. The ranking, developed in partnership with data and analytics company Statista, highlights 750 companies that demonstrate strong performance on environmental and social criteria. Out of an initial pool of 5,800 global companies, Bekaert is proud to be recognized for its progress and commitment.
The American magazine TIME and Statista apply a structured and data-driven approach to assess corporate sustainability. Their methodology evaluates companies across multiple dimensions, including the sustainability of their core business activities, external ratings from organizations such as CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative, the quality and transparency of ESG reporting, and social indicators like workplace safety, diversity in leadership and employee engagement. In total, more than 20 indicators contribute to the overall score and final ranking.
This recognition reflects Bekaert’s continued focus on responsible business practices and its ambition to create value for customers, society and the environment.
