How we solve complex challenges

  • Transportation
    As mobility evolves, manufacturers need to combine efficiency, performance and sustainability without compromising safety or the driving experience. Bekaert’s tire reinforcement solutions unite superior strength with less weight, helping reduce rolling resistance. Today, one in four tires worldwide contains Bekaert tire cord. Beyond tires, our advanced materials are used in transportation applications such as windshield wipers, spring wire and heating systems.

  • Lifting and mooring
    As lifting and mooring applications face extreme loads and harsh operating conditions, safety, reliability and long service life are critical. Bekaert brings together materials expertise, engineering capabilities and deep application know-how to develop solutions that perform reliably under these conditions. Our steel and synthetic ropes are used across mining, energy, marine and industrial operations.

  • Electrification

Bekaert's advanced materials strengthen overhead power lines and subsea cables, supporting the transmission of electricity over long distances and in demanding environments.
