Barbed Wire consists of two strands of wire twisted together with barbs placed at predetermined distances. Reverse twist is the new standard used by Bekaert in its high tensile barbed wire products.

Bekaert field fences utilizes a woven wire with a hinge joint knot. Our field fences are offered in a wide variety of heights and styles that feature graduated spacing that starts with narrow openings at the bottom which prevents the entry of small animals.

Fixed knot fences utilize solid vertical stay wires, which increase the vertical strength of the fence and allows for increased post spacing.

Smooth wire products are used for general fencing jobs and are soft and is the lowest cost option for a permanent fence as it is very easy to install and dispenses consistently and easily with little maintenance.

The "S" knot design uses a separate piece of wire that attaches the line wire to the solid stay wire assuring maximum strength and prevents the fence from buckling or sagging.
