Explore the full potential of your masonry projects

Murfor® is designed to avoid cracking, deterioration, bulging walls, and other common problems you face in masonry construction. Its engineered reinforcement consists of two parallel wires and one diagonal wire welded together – a high-strength solution for various masonry applications. Suitable for both concrete and exterior masonry walls, Murfor® is available in multiple widths to fit any brick size. You can choose between different finishes, including galvanized, epoxy-coated, and stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with EN 845-3 standards.

Murfor® RND

  • Round longitudinal wires
  • For normal mortar joints (6-15 mm)

Murfor® EFS

  • Flat longitudinal wires
  • For glued thin bed joints (max. 3 mm)

Stop crack from forming, easily

Effectively prevent and control crack formation in stress areas – for example, around windows, doors, and at changes in building height. By increasing the distance between movement joints, it allows for more durable and better looking constructions.

  • Enhanced durability and safety.
  • Aesthetic appeal without disturbing vertical lines.
  • Increased span distances in masonry walls with Eurocode 6 compliance.

Bring your design visions to lasting reality

Expand your possibilities for innovative design without compromising structural integrity. Murfor® supports higher wind loads, allows for the creation of longer and higher walls, and reduces the need for additional supporting columns and beams – saving time and costs.

  • Create masonry lintels in facade walls with more confidence.
  • Provide reinforcement for horizontal and vertical wall deformation.
  • Save money through reduced need for auxiliary structures.

Safeguard structures in seismic areas

Murfor® significantly improves the resistance and displacement capacity of masonry structures in seismic zones – mitigating the risks of out-of-plane failure during earthquakes. It meets stringent seismic regulations and is recommended for infill walls by the Italian Norme Tecniche per le Costruzioni (NTC).

  • Increase shear resistance and displacement capacity.
  • Reduce risk of out-of-plane collapsing.
  • Strengthen connections between walls for improved structural integrity.
