Your smart choice for road renovation longevity

Fortifix® is a steel anti-reflective cracking interlayer featuring an advanced 3D steel cord structure delivered on a lightweight non-woven carrier. Engineered for road renovations, Fortifix® provides high tensile stiffness and optimal elongation, effectively combating reflective cracking to keep asphalt overlays intact and resilient for years. The design includes large mesh openings, optimizing bonding with tack coats for a secure, durable installation.

Resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses, Fortifix® stands strong under heavy traffic and extreme temperatures. Whether for routine maintenance or extensive resurfacing, Fortifix® offers the strength, flexibility, and long-lasting support that demanding road projects require.

Built for long-lasting road renovations

Fortifix® combines high stiffness with optimal elongation to create a surface that stands up to continuous traffic and tough conditions. With steel securely anchored within the asphalt, renovated roads stay crack-free and smooth longer, reducing the need for frequent repairs and extending overall road life.

  • High stiffness maintains road integrity under heavy loads
  • Adapts to surface movements without compromising performance
  • Rigorous testing confirms significantly extended life of asphalt overlays

Sustainable and recyclable for future-ready roads

With sustainability at its core, Fortifix® is designed to simplify recycling. The steel interlayer separates easily from asphalt during recycling, allowing both materials to be reused, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy in road renovation.

  • Magnetic properties enable perfect separation and recycling of steel and asphalt
  • Reduces environmental impact, aligning with modern infrastructure sustainability goals

Simplified installation for faster renovations

Fortifix® simplifies road renovation projects with its easy-to-install design. The interlayer rolls out quickly and smoothly over any surface, adhering securely without additional fixation steps. Its 3D cord structure enhances adhesion, making installation faster, reducing labor costs, and minimizing disruption.

  • Quick roll-out and adhesion for efficient project timelines
  • Fits various surface types, ensuring a reliable, durable installation
  • Lowers labor costs and shortens project durations
