Bekaert announces the introduction of inhera®, its sustainability label that reinforces the company’s commitment to accelerating the transition to a net-zero world. Inhera® highlights top-performing innovative solutions that help industries achieve their net-zero goals faster. Each labeled solution meets rigorous criteria, including alignment with the EU Taxonomy Regulation, and contributes to reducing carbon emissions, improving resource efficiency, and supporting circularity. Currently, eight Bekaert solutions carry the inhera® label.
In today's world, sustainability is no longer optional, it's a strategic imperative. As customer expectations for transparency grow, credible sustainability labels have become essential for guiding responsible choices and driving measurable progress.
More than just a label, Inhera® embodies Bekaert’s ambition to partner with customers in advancing measurable sustainability impact across industries. It provides clarity, trust, and performance assurance, spotlighting Bekaert’s top-performing solutions across sectors like construction, automotive, and energy, aligned with frameworks like the EU Taxonomy Regulation, and supported by third-party validated data.
The name inhera® reflects how sustainability is embedded in Bekaert’s DNA, an inherent part of its processes, innovations, and mindset. Ann-Françoise Versele, VP Sustainability, explains: “Sustainability is inherent in everything we do at Bekaert. Through our products and processes, we aim to leave a legacy of sustainability for future generations. Our partners who choose inhera® solutions are choosing to accelerate sustainability and create real impact.”
The label currently features a curated portfolio of eight solutions designed to drive cleaner, more sustainable progress across key end-markets, with more innovations continuously added to support the journey to net-zero.
