To make vehicles Euro6 compliant, AdBlue® or DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) are used to reduce NOx emissions in the exhaust gases of diesel powered vehicles in order to meet the stringent environmental legislation. Adblue® freezes at -11°C and therefore needs to be heated in cold conditions.
